Directors at the club made the decision to undergo a major renovation to their clubhouse to make it a more attractive location for the bowls community and their families to visit.

Working within a tight budget, only cosmetic changes were made, including new flooring, wall finishes, furniture and lighting.

The renovation has been a major success with the club barely recognisable from its old setting. The venue is now fresh and bright, and has already brought a younger demographic to the club.

​

The refreshed look of the club has also seen an increase in barefoot bowls functions, with a number of businesses and schools in and around St Ives choosing the new venue for social gatherings.
